A few months ago I had the pleasure of photographing one of the coolest birthday celebrations I’d ever seen!

It was Maggie’s 30th birthday and why not go out all in celebration with a murder mystery themed party?

First, guest received a personal invitation hand-delivered by the butler, with their own skeleton key that would let them into the speakeasy style home. Guests wore 1920’s attire to really bring them back to that era.

Upon arrival, the guests were handed a notebook of instructions, and a small map of the house so they could get to work to figure out who had committed the murder, and with what weapon.

Scattered around the home were pieces of evidence and potential “murder weapons”. Later in the evening all of the guests were gathered into a room so the detective could get to work on interrogations and get to the bottom of the the murder!

With a dream team of vendors no detail was left out, from the speakeasy in the basement to the delicious dessert bar everything was set to perfection!

I had an absolute blast watching the events unfold and being there to photograph this amazing birthday party.
